Every so often, Cops and Courts takes a look at national legal issues. Today’s is a good one.
The U.S. Department of Justice recently proposed letting federal agencies lie when asked about the existence of documents deemed sensitive. They could simply say, when confronted with Freedom of Information Act requests, “Nope, never existed.”
