It’s not often that a story from the cops and courts beat has a happy ending. But the Missoula Alliance Church had a heartwarming experience after the recent vandalism of its fundraising pumpkin patch. Somebody went through the patch and sliced through about 100 pumpkins, causing about $1,000 worth of damage.
An 18-year-old Lolo man was arrested Friday in connection with the destruction earlier this week of more than 100 pumpkins at the Missoula Alliance Church’s annual fundraising pumpkin patch.
Alex Miller was charged with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, in the Sunday incident, said Missoula police Detective Sgt. Travis Welsh.
