Today’s Missoulian features two tough stories about young men characterized by their love of the outdoors. We’re glad that Paul Busch apparently didn’t die as a result of a crime, but are terribly sad for his family and friends: A 25-year-old Bozeman man found drowned in the Clark Fork River on Sunday [...] There was so much news on the Cops and Courts front yesterday that we’re resorting to a roundup today. Campus shooting was accidental: One University of Montana student was charged with misdemeanor negligent assault after accidentally shooting another in the hand. The Missoula Police Department seeks the public’s help in locating an 80-year-old man missing since Tuesday evening. Earle Brengle left his home near Spurgin Road and Reserve Street between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. and hasn’t been seen [...] It was a tough holiday weekend in western Montana. The body found Friday in the woods near Superior did indeed turn out to be that of Kelly Dube-Woodard, missing since last Tuesday: Dube-Woodard’s ex-husband, Michael Woodard, remains in custody at an Elko, Nev., jail. Woodard was arrested in Nevada on Wednesday after [...] Oh, dear. Despite the lack of specifics, this doesn’t sound good: A woman’s body was found Friday afternoon in Mineral County, but investigators aren’t saying the location or if the body is that of Kelly Dube-Woodard of Superior.
