Worse yet that a racial element was injected.
The woman who reported a scary purse-snatching in the wee hours of Thursday morning – and who blamed it on a black man – now has told Missoula police she sat her purse down in a bar. (Read the Missoulian story)
The purse is still missing, police said.
So is a little bit of the day’s luster.

It is a shame that some people are still using “It was a blackman that committed the crime” as their standby excuse when they have no answer for the police or they want an easy way out. So just use a minority as your scapegoat. Socity has been doing that for a very long time.
