Last week, there was the Missoulian story about the middle school students at the DeSmet school eating pot-laced cookies during their lunch break.
Now comes this Associated Press story from Ronan:
POLSON – A 56-year-old Ronan man has been charged with providing teenage girls with drugs, alcohol and cigarettes during their school lunch breaks.
Leonard Irvine pleaded not guilty Wednesday to three counts of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs on or near school property.
The investigation began when the school resource officer started getting complaints from concerned parents. A search of Irvine’s house on March 4 turned up prescription drugs, hypodermic needles and spoons with white residue on them.
Suddenly, I feel a lot more charitable toward regular old mystery meat.
