Tuesday, August 4th, 2009Terry Lee Steele, 47, was arrested Monday night for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend after she tried to stop him from urinating through the door of a moving truck.

The woman, who was driving approximately 20 miles per hour, offered to pull over and let the man urinate outside, but Steele accused her of trying to leave him on the roadside. When she tried to close the door out of concern for Steele’s safety, he began hitting her in the throat, records state.
When Steele tried to grab hold of the steering wheel, the woman hit him back, and in response he poured a beer over her head. The woman tried to call police on her cell phone, but Steele knocked the phone out of her hand. When she arrived home, she called 911.
Law enforcement arrived and found Steele hiding behind a parked vehicle. He had urinated in his pants.
Steele is charged with partner assault (a second offense), criminal destruction of a communication device and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors.
