University of Montana football player Jimmy Wilson pleaded not guilty Tuesday to allegations that he bit a woman’s leg, responding to the misdemeanor charge one year after jurors in Southern California acquitted him on murder charges.
The allegations prompted UM officials to suspend the standout cornerback indefinitely from football practice.

Man gets consecutive life prison sentences for Lodge Pole murders

A man convicted of murdering a couple  just north of Lodge Pole appeared Monday in U.S. District Court in Great Falls and was given back-to-back life prison terms.
Elwyn “Jay” Has The Eagle, 26, of Lodge Pole, was arrested in December 2008 on a slew of tribal charges, including two counts each of murder, aggravated assault [...]
